It's a Boy!

So...I'm super behind in updating our blog. Whoops. We had a baby. People understand. Then again, I wasn't very good before he was born. :)

In case you hadn't heard, Dominic Robert Ikaika (pronounced ee-kai-ka) Ames was born August 15, 2011 at 2:36AM. He was 9 pounds, 13 ounces and 21.75 inches long. Robert is the name of his paternal grandfather and maternal great-grandfather...and was actually the first part of the name we had picked out. I'll save the birth/labor story for another post. I have several posts to get caught up, but at least wanted to get started with the first while he's sleeping. :)

He's such a good baby and a sweet boy. I can't get over him. :)
